Adtalem and Google Cloud Launch AI Credential Program for Healthcare Professionals
Adtalem Global Education has partnered with Google Cloud to introduce a specialized artificial intelligence credential program designed for students and healthcare professionals. Launching in 2026, the program will train participants to apply AI tools such as Google’s Gemini models and Vertex AI services in clinical practice and decision-making.
Building AI Competency in Clinical Practice
The curriculum will cover practical applications of AI in healthcare, including clinical diagnostics, patient safety, and ethical considerations. Participants from Adtalem’s institutions, including Chamberlain University and Walden University, will gain hands-on experience using AI-driven solutions increasingly adopted by hospitals and healthcare systems.
Bridging the Skills Gap in Healthcare AI Adoption
With hospitals investing heavily in AI to combat staffing shortages, Adtalem aims to bridge the gap between technology and clinical readiness. The program supports over 91,000 current students and 365,000 alumni across its network, equipping the next generation of clinicians with critical AI literacy and practical implementation skills.
