The World Health Organization (WHO) and the Government of India have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to co-host the Second Global Summit on Traditional Medicine in New Delhi from 17–19 December 2025. The Summit will focus on advancing global collaboration, innovation, and evidence-based integration of traditional medicine.

Theme and Participation

Organized under the theme “Restoring balance for people and planet: The science and practice of well-being,” the event will align with WHO’s 10-year global strategy on traditional medicine adopted at the 78th World Health Assembly. More than 500 delegates are expected on-site, with an additional 5,000 participants joining virtually.

Platform for Global Dialogue and Innovation

The Summit will bring together international experts, policymakers, and stakeholders to foster dialogue, share best practices, and showcase innovations in traditional medicine. An immersive expo will highlight global approaches, with the event expected to strengthen partnerships and commitments for integrating traditional healing into modern healthcare systems worldwide.
